Sip & Stitch: A Cozy Evening of Wine and Knitting
Indulge in an evening of creativity and relaxation at our Sip & Stitch event!
Join us for a gathering where guests can unwind, sip on some tasty wines, and immerse themselves in the soothing art of knitting.
What to Expect: Join our warm and inviting atmosphere where the clinking of glasses mingles with the gentle click of knitting needles. Whether you're a seasoned knitter or a complete beginner, our Sip & Stitch event is designed for all skill levels.
Our expert knitting instructor and front of house diamond, Harriet Hill, will guide you through the basics and offer personalized assistance for those seeking to enhance their skills. Don't worry if you're new to knitting – this is a supportive and inclusive space for everyone.
Feel free to bring your own knitting projects, needles will be provided, but please bring your own yarn.
Unwind, socialize, and connect with fellow guests as you embark on a creative journey together.

CELLARS AT THE SEA SIDE
For the second weekend of our Somm Swap Double Header, we are thrilled to host Nathan from Little Cellars, Saturday 16th December. Nathan is coming down to Margate to take over our by the glass selection for ONE NIGHT ONLY! He’ll be bringing a smattering of wines you will have never seen on our shelves or lists, and perhaps introduce you to some new favourites! Booking is advised for dinner, and the Nathan’s list will be available in the bar as well, which is walk—in only.

SÈTE IN THE CITY
We have long been admirers of the team behind Peckham Cellars, and they recently opened a new spot Little Cellars, which is all about great wine, great snacks and a GOOD time. So we thought what better way to collaborate on our shared love of the good stuff then with a somm swap. Sète founder, Natalia Ribbe will be heading to the big smoke to take over the Little Cellars by the glass selection Saturday 9th December from 5pm until close. Expect all her favourites from the Sète list over the last year - did someone say Chardog? and a few other highlights.

Can’t make it to London? Not to worry - Nathan from LC will be making the pilgrimage to Margate the following weekend for his very own takeover of our by the glass selection. More details can be found here.
CLUB DU VIN with WESTWELL WINES
Our monthly wine club is here to make wine tasting FUN! We don’t believe in strict descriptors, babbling on about how long it’s been on the lees - we’re all about getting you to drink our of your comfort zone, and get comfortable trying something new.
This month we have a special guest joining us from WESTWELL WINES. Westwell is located just beneath the Pilgrims Way on the North Downs in Kent; a route used for centuries by Pilgrims travelling to Canterbury. They grow four different varieties
- Pinot Meunier
- Pinot Noir
- Chardonnay
- Ortega
All their wines are made on-site from fruit grown on the estate. Giving the team complete control of the full process and ensuring an end product that they can be really proud of - and that we really enjoy drinking!
We have listed many of the Westwell wines since opening, and this will be a real treat for anyone looking to taste the full range and learn a bit more about the wine being made on our doorstep here in Kent.

WREATH MAKING
Come join us at Sète to make your own bespoke wreath in time for the holidays!
If you’ve had a chance to see our festive decorations in the bar and dining room, you will see the work of Florence Jones; stylist and aspiring florist. As we head into December and to celebrate the Northdown Road Shops Block Party, Florence will guide you through making your own mixed fresh green foliage wreath on a moss base, finishing with festive decorations.
£45 includes a delicious glass of Glühwine + all materials and equipment.
