Sète is a neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar in Margate, serving a seasonal menu of small plates with a modern European spirit.
The food changes with the seasons - thoughtful, produce-led dishes designed for sharing (or not sharing, we won’t judge). From a quick snack at the bar to a table laden with plates, our menu is made for both the casual drop-in and the long, lingering supper.
Our wine list is built on stories. Every bottle has something to say — of winemakers who care deeply about their land, their craft, and the people drinking their wines. We champion producers who are doing remarkable things, for the planet and for your glass.
And at its heart, Sète is about good times. It’s the spot for birthdays, hen parties, and celebrations, just as much as it is for midweek suppers, Friday night crowds, and dinners with friends.

yagmur (turkey) and panos (cyprus) met working together at Manteca, and have been building something really special ever since - centred around generous, meze-style dishes designed for sharing.
they’ll be with us friday → monday, taking over the kitchen with a menu that’s bold, vibrant and very much made for long tables.
